Usually ships in 1-2 business days | | | The TRIC case provides a level of impact protection for your guitar that rivals the protection offered by many flight cases. With some significant differences: the TRIC case weighs in just slightly heavier than a typical gig bag. It is also remarkably affordable, with a price very close to that of a standard hard-shell guitar case. Add to that the TRIC's capacity to resist changes in temperature and you have the best thing to happen in guitar protection in years. The phenomenal combination of resilience and lightness in the TRIC case is possible thanks to a high-tech material called: Neopolen P Expanded Polypropylene or EPP. This material is incredibly tough, light and boasts exceptional thermal properties. | | | |

The only thing it doesn't have is an airbag. . . Apr 07, 2008 Like Mitch, I've had this case for several years and it is just remarkable. It's light, very well insulated, and I trust it for impact protection over everything else. The light weight means that if someone drops it, the physics of the fall are going to transmit much less impact into the guitar than if the case weight 20 pounds. Ideally, I'd like to have a waterproof covering, and maybe a softer inside liner, but the waterproofing could be done with a spray, and the soft part could be done with a soft towel.
Tric case Mar 16, 2008 I have travelled all over the wold carrying acoustic guitars and I don't review things ever. This case is by far the best case ever made. Light as a feather and climate controlled as it's made out of styrofoam. It's like a cooler for your guitar with nylon around it. It keeps the cold and heat out. And the nature of the material protects your guitar as it's sort of shock absorbant. Just a great idea that works. Only thing they could do better is put a strap/loop on the outside of the neck section for easy carrying on the plane. And market it so people know about it. If people knew about this case everyone would own one for their guitars. Mine is now 5 years old. I need some for my electrics. But I don't think they make them.
