Great strings Nov 27, 2008 These are a cross between extra light and light guage strings. Having experimented with the same or similiar gauge strings in other brands I have settled on these. They are better than the coated strings for sure. I don't care how long they last, because they sound so good. The feel is way better than the old comparatively "sticky" sets available 30 years ago. Good feel, above average durability, great tone. If your accoustic does not sound fantastic with a set of these, you should buy a better guitar.
