Martin humidifiers are made from the finest materials available. The tubes on the Martin humidifier are extruded from the finest non-vinyl and non-allergenic resin, soft enough not to exert pressure around the soundhold and sufficiently sturdy to minimize contact with the inside parts of your guitar. The water suction stem within the Martin humidifier absorbs ten times its weight in water and slowly emits moisture through the holes.

5You can use more than one  Jul 21, 2007
If it's really dry you can place more than one of these in your guitar easily and raise the humidity quite a bit. Where I live, this is the only humidifier that's raised the humidity over about 38% (using two). I've actually had to be careful as I've hit almost 60%.

Using a humidity gauge in the case you can really fine tune the humidity, and because it doesn't cover the soundhole it humidifies the entire guitar.

Nice product, and Martin wouldn't make anything that would hurt your instrument. Just be sure to squeeze out the excess water.
