Mostly ok, but.... Feb 12, 2010 For the most part, this tuner works fine. But it has a few eccentricities that I find absolutely maddening. Numerous times this Korg has turned itself on in my gig bag and re-calibrated itself and I haven't caught it because the lighting is often poor and it has no back light. It is not a pleasant experience to get on stage, start to play and realize your band is at 440 and you are at 438 or 444. On a few occasions, I've also had it decide my autoharp is a step or two out of tune, and after tuning up, once again find I am way out of tune. So I've reached a point I will only use this in bright light and have back up tuners. I did like that I could plug it in. If I could find a tough clip on with a backlight on that would plug in... that would be perfect.
Had it for years. Feb 04, 2010 I have had this tuner for about a decade, since it came out. It is sensitive to ambient noise. But if you have a relatively quite area to tune in or an instrument like an electric bass/guitar it does work with the use of one nifty little cable that plugs into the "input" slot. Own a violin and bass guitar and never had a problem with it. Would keep it for decades to come if it lasts that long...which I'm pretty sure it will!
OK, But not durable. Meaninless Warranty Jan 14, 2010 I bought one of these tuners three months ago. I have had good luck with other Korg products including tuners. This tuner started operating intermittently and would quit at the worst times (on stage). It has a three year warranty, but, you must buy Korg tuners from an authorized dealer or you are out of luck. At this point I'm not impressed with the tuner or Korg. My replacement tuner will not be a Korg.
Great little tuner for the $$ Jan 07, 2010 I use this tuner mostly for amateur piano tuning and it does a wonderful job and it's easy to use. My sister borrows it for finding the perfect pitch singing and my neighbor bums it for his guitar. All around great and you can't beat the price!
Great price, quality tuner Dec 19, 2009 Great price for a great tuner. This thing is durable and the battery lasts forever!
