Absoutely the best accoustic amplification available! Jan 22, 2008
I've been playing and writing music for almost 40 years. I installed a Fishman blend and Matrix I combo in my old Guild M-40 a couple of years ago and I have to say, the sound exceeded my wildest expectations! I've used it for live gigs, as well as recording, and the tone is always rich and very acoustic.
The ease of operation is wonderful, and I really like the fact that it's functionally invisible. I regularly get complemented on the tone of my guitar, and when I go to an open mike gig, it's my guitar that everyone wants to play, even the guys with Martins and Taylors. One friend had a Martin with a similar product made by one of Fishman's competitors. There was no comparison... As far as I'm concerned, this is the best accoustic amplification available, for any price!
