The best strings around Jun 15, 2007 After trying out a few different types of strings for my Taylor, I decided the Taylor company had the right idea after all- nothing beats Elixirs. I figure the price is reasonable because not only do they last far longer than any other strings, they also feel a lot better on your fingers. I prefer the nanowebs to the polywebs because they're slicker and the top layer on the polywebs shreds/feathers a bit over the soundhole sometimes. Overall, definitely worth it.
