Decent gig bag May 28, 2008 I purchased this gig bag in hopes that it would fit my Dean acoustic bass guitar. After seeing others and reading all of the reviews stating the same thing (that the bag didn't fit the Dean models) I came across this one.
After receiving a black bag (not the tan colored one on the picture shown - not that I really care!)I placed my acoustic bass inside and hoped for the best. It proved worthy! Everything fits fine with a little room left over. It has a zippered seal to close the bag and a zippered pouch that will hold a few music books. It also has a tri-strap where you can carry the bag as a backpack or shorten the strap and carry it over the shoulder.
I give this bag 4 stars. First because it fits my bass and secures well. What it doesn't have is any padding. As I realize it's just a gig bag my acoustic guitar gig bag has a few extra pockets and is padded.
Other than that this bag is worth the reasonable price (considering others I've looked at) and it fits what it is supposed to fit.
