Like all Pocket Rockit products, the V2 plugs directly into any guitar. Just plug it in, put on your headphones and you're ready to rock 'n' roll. You can even play along with your favorite CD. Best of all, the V2 sounds better than many full-blown amplifiers. The C Tech V2's amp emulation circuitry models vintage and current classics. The Clean amp button scrolls through 3 clean or slightly over-driven tones. The Dirty amp button scrolls through 3 gnarly, positively nasty high-gain selections. Sounds reminiscent of classic Fender, Marshall, Soldano and other amps are at your fingertips. This headphone amp has 2 independent DSP effect banks a delay bank with straight delay, flange, and chorus and a reverb bank that includes arena reverb, small-hall reverb, and an echo effect. Use any effect independently, or use one from each bank simultaneously.A digital tuner features audible low-E, A, D, G, B and high-E notes. Tri-colored LED indicates flat, sharp, or in tune. It's a perfect tool for improving your ear. A built-in click track/metronome has a naturally- sampled snare drum hit - there's no annoying buzz or tone. The Pocket Rockit's metronome has adjustable tempos between 60 -180 bpm provides a great way to work on your time.... | | | |

Bought this for travel Apr 05, 2008 I purchased the V2 so that I could use it while traveling. It's very small and offers a lot of nice features. I like that it has a tuner and metronome built in.
The headphones are extremely cheap and can be thrown out and replaced with your favorite pair. What stands out most with this unit is the very poor build quality. I'm constantly worried about breaking it because it seems so delicate.
I like the Danelectro HoneyTone better for sound, but for features and portability, the V2 is better, even though it's overpriced.
Can't Stop Rockin' Feb 10, 2008 I can't stand how awsome this little amp is. It sounds great has a lot of great choices and is perfect for when I want to play and can't take my whole set up. This was a great purchase.

yesterday was halloween Nov 01, 2007 I needed headphones so I could practice my guitar at night and I saw this thing and I thought it would be very good and cool because of all its features like clean and distorted sounds, reverb, delay, a metronome, tuner plus you just stick it into your guitar and all it needs is a 9 volt battery.
Anyways when I got this it seems kind of cheap and like it could break easily and some of the paint was scratched off its logo. There are only a few instructins on the box which really didn't help much but most of it is self explanitory. The sound quality isn't that good and all the special features sound annoying. However the worst thing was how I would be in the middle of playing and this thing would just shut off after a few minutes. First I just thought it was an automatic thing but it doesn't say that anywhere on the box and like I said I would be in the middle of playing when it would shut off. I tried changing batteries but it kept on shutting off. After that I decided to return it which was very easy and I got my money back very quickly.
I wouldn't recommend this to any one because it sucks especialy for the price but if you do decide to get it don't worry because like I said it'll be easy to get your money back after you realize how bad it is.

Owner Sally Recording Studios Memphis TN May 12, 2007 I enjoy playing guitar but sometimes you can disturb others when you play like in hotel rooms etc. I bought this equipment on a whim... but I was supprised at the quality of this product! This thing is killer! It sounds like a marshall stack in the head phones I even plugged it through the board at my Recording Studio and it sounded great! I would recommend this product to anyone it is amazing!

Unbelievable Mar 10, 2006 I have been waiting for this product for several years and i must say the guy's at C-tech really nailed it. The distortion tones are great - particulalrly if your a better player with an ear for tone - and the single coil, humbucker amp customization is pretty cool. It makes a big difference. The Delay effects are pretty good, certainly considering this little buugger does everything on a 9 volt battery. To be sure, the delays are not as good or flexible as what you can get from any of the garden variety DSP delay pedals, but the convenience of of having everything at your finger tips including tunner & click-track, AND the fact that it plugs directly into the guitar makes this thing killer.
